Rubber is actually the name of a tree. The substances obtained from this tree itself and its sap, latex, have found use in industry. In other words, rubber, or elastomers in general, are flexible polymers that show a small amount of plastic fluidity and change shape when a force is applied, and can almost completely return to their former shape when the applied force is removed.

Both plastic and rubber are polymers. A polymer is a macromolecule consisting of many repeating units. Each repeating unit represents the monomer used to form the polymer. Some polymers are synthetic, while other polymers are naturally occurring compounds. While plastic is a synthetic polymer, rubber exists as a natural polymer. This is the main difference between plastic and rubber. Both compounds are very useful in the production of different substances.
Plastic is the name given to the materials obtained by breaking the bonds in molecular groups in simple structure, called monomer, which is formed by carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and other organic or inorganic elements, and transforming them into a long and chained structure called polymer.
For example, food packaging bag (PE), microwave oven meal box (PP), plastic shawl (LDPE), drainage pipe (PVC), fast food box (PS), mineral water bottle (PET) and so on. Although most plastics are chemically stable, but their temperature resistance is relatively weak, high temperature, easy to burn, low temperature, brittle, aging. Plastic is widely used, but it is very difficult to classify or recycle. Plastic cannot deteriorate naturally, which leads to more serious white pollution today.
RUBBER : Rubber is divided into natural rubber and synthetic rubber, natural rubber is made from the SAP of rubber tree with a series of natural processing. The most obvious difference between rubber and plastic is that rubber is flexible while not plastic. Natural rubber has good wear resistance, high elasticity, tensile strength and elongation can also withstand acid and alkali. While natural rubber has limitations of heat and oil resistance, synthetic rubber greatly belongs to the category of synthetic rubber and can withstand temperatures between -20 C and +120 C.Silica gel develops those that are possible.
